Jesús Vega is a philosopher at the Autonomous University of Madrid. He received a Ph.D in the University of Salamanca. His main interests are in epistemology and philosophy of science and technology. Recent publications include papers about science in the public sphere ("Is Science a Public Sphere?", Social Epistemology, 2007), testimony ("Epistemic merit, testimony and autonomy", Theoria, 2008), and
disjunctivism ("Appearances and Disjunctions. Empirical Authority in
McDowell's Space of Reasons", Teorema, 2006). He has also published papers about knowing-how, technological knowledge, and artifacts and their cognitive role.
