William Lynch studied Science and Technology Studies at Cornell University. His research interests include social theory and early modern history and philosophy of science.
Recent publications include Solomon's Child: Method in the Early Royal Society of London (Stanford University Press, 2001) and “The Ghost of Wittgenstein: Forms of Life, Scientific Method, and Cultural Critique”, Philosophy of the Social Sciences, forthcoming.
